Switched to 1200 calories per day (low carb) and my insulin requirements dropped dramatically - like one third of what they were. Note: before I was eating 2400-2600 calories per day for like 3 months (low carb) - and injected about 75 units per day of insulin on average. I keep a running average each day for the week and do the weekly average on Saturday. I just started weighing myself everyday, as you can see in the screenshot below. I can then generate a graph of my avg weekly weight loss. This way I can see how everything correlates with each other all in one place. I also put other summary info for the previous day into the spreadsheet. I add a new line to it each morning after I wake up and weigh myself (after restroom, before breakfast). I ultimately just decided to track everything in a spreadsheet.
